Commissions Module You can now assign one or more dispatchers or salespeople to customers, and automatically calculate and report on commissions due. Users can set up commission schedules that can pay based on the gross revenue, gross margin, or a fixed amount per load. You also have full control over what types of revenue items are commissionable.
Broker/Agent Security This new security feature allows system administrators to assign customers to specific Dispatchers/Agents (or groups of Dispatchers/Agents), and set the system so that only those users can see their load activity. Since users are typically paid via 1099 based on the activity they book, this security feature prevents individual agents from seeing what other booking activity and associated customer/revenue data is present in Dispatch for the brokerage as a whole.
Search Enhancements New functions have been added to the existing radial search to allow the definition of origin and destination areas that a carrier prefers to run in and what they charge for running in those lanes. The new "Best Fit" search allows users to match carriers to loads in lanes in which they have run historically, or in which they have been set up to run. Loads can also be tendered to one or more carriers via email. Furthermore, the Best Fit option can be used to quickly determine if you have a driver available to carry a load you are being offered.
Brokerage Load Data Flow Brokerage companies now have the ability to book a load in one company (typically the brokerage), and assign it to another company (usually the trucking company). The system will then be able to tender the load by copying it to the trucking company and making all necessary accounting transactions such that the payable from the brokerage shows up as revenue within the trucking company. Each set of transactions can then be posted to QuickBooks® or other accounting systems independently. This enhancement will mean a major increase in data entry efficiency by eliminating the need to manually reenter this information in another of your companies' database.

Prophesy Log Auditing Software Fully Compliant with New HOS Regulations

Following a recent press release issued by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) announcing a final rule governing Hours of Service regulations for commercial motor vehicle drivers, Prophesy is pleased to announce that our industry-leading driver log auditing software, LogPlus, remains fully equipped to handle the current HOS regulations.
This announcement is intended to address the concerns of many trucking companies that have so far avoided the purchase of log audit software in anticipation of regulation changes, believing broad changes to the rules may render their software obsolete. With the FMCSA's newly published "Final Rule", Prophesy is confident in the ability of LogPlus to handle each of its requirements today and in the future.

Prophesy Releases 2009 Road Network Update
Update Further Strengthens Existing Products from Mileage to DispatchSeries Software
Prophesy has completed the Winter 2009 update of its North American Road Network Database. This major update reflects the latest changes in the National transportation infrastructure, including updates to routing points, zip codes, highway exit numbers, and commercially restricted routes. We have also increased and updated fuel stop listings for use with our fuel optimization software, FuelLogic, including amenities, contact information, ownership status, and more.

Prophesy Tech Support Introduces New eSupport Tool
As always, our goal is to provide our users with top quality technical support services. To help meet the needs of our growing family of customers, Prophesy Technical Support has implemented the eSupport ticket tracking system. This new tool provides improved response times, maintains a trackable support history for your company, reduces the overall length of time needed to address questions and issues, and best of all, keeps you fully informed throughout.
When sending an email to Support, you will now receive an immediate reply to notify you that your request was received. This email includes your Support Ticket ID number, which is a reference number that will be attached to your request so that you and our technical support personnel can track its progress until completion. Also included is a link to the Prophesy FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) page, an online knowledge base that you can browse to see if your question or issue already has a documented solution. Additional contact information and business hours are also included in this email for quick reference.
You will also receive a Ticket ID number when you contact Support by phone. This number works in the same way as it does in email, giving you and any involved support representatives a reference to look up and track the progress of your question or issue.

Ask the Tech Team
In this issue we will cover all of the ways you can get help from Prophesy, from useful built-in software features to methods for contacting us for technical, training, purchasing, and implementation assistance. Here's how!
Tip of the Day - By default, the Tip of the Day is displayed every time you enter most Prophesy programs. If this has been turned off and you would like to turn it back on, open the Preferences window (F2 on your keyboard), click on the System Defaults tab, and check the box labeled "Offer help on startup".
Right-Click Menu - When in doubt, right-click! In nearly every screen in every Prophesy application, you have the ability to right-click to see a list of actions that you can perform within that window. This can help you quickly and easily find that elusive feature you've been looking for. Most right-click options can also be found in the menus at the top of the screen. Feel free to explore!
Built-In Help File - One of the quickest ways to find answers to your questions is to access the electronic product manual right from within the program you are using. Simply press F1 on your keyboard or click Help > Index (or Help > Help Index) and the Help window will appear. From here you can browse through the help topics in the Contents tree, or click the Search tab and type in the keyword(s) you want to search for. This online manual contains all of the same information as your printed manual and is conveniently available right on your screen.
Online Support Services - The Prophesy website features a Support Services area where you can view the FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) for all of our products, get important downloads, give us feedback, and more.
