Update on Latest Release of Dispatch

If you are a Dispatch user you will very shortly receive Dispatch version 5.5.37 or later. This new release is available to all current Dispatch users at no charge as part of our ongoing maintenance and enhancement program.

Prophesy Dispatch v.5.5.37 (including versions for Prophesy Accounting, QuickBooks, and Peachtree as well as other accounting systems) has many important new functions including a sophisticated driver scheduling module. Our team would like to make you aware of this and some of the other improvements that have been added.

New Driver Scheduling Module: This feature allows you to view drivers’ schedules, including assigned and enroute loads and allows the capability to book time off for a driver.
New Load Scheduling Module: This feature allows full control over load assignment and schedule management with a new convenient interface and a major update to the Resource Availability screen.
Overall improvement in performance and ease of use: We are constantly learning from our customers which functions they use the most and how they use them. Based on this feedback we then make sure the most critical functions are made easier to use, and we have also tuned the system so that response time is improved even more in critical areas.
Granular control over your information: Increased visibility in load and driver scheduling as well as driver expiration dates, and with options such as VisiFreight your customers can access all relevant load information via the Internet in real-time.

Document Imaging, a Universal Trucking Tool

Document Imaging has been designed for use by any trucking company either with Dispatch or as a standalone offering. Easily add Document Imaging capabilities to Prophesy Dispatch, FreightBill Express, or ProphesyONE, and immediately begin scanning and storing your essential documents – invoices, PODs, proof of insurance, broker documents, vehicle paperwork, notes, accident photos, and more.

DI lets you provide customers with copies of all the documents associated with a Load, Driver, Tractor, or Trailer along with any general corporate documents that are requested such as insurance coverage.

Did you know that you can adjust multiple rate schedules at once within Dispatch? If, for example, your company decides to increase its per-mile charge and you have fifty rate schedules that will be affected by the change, you can quickly apply this increase to any or all schedules at once. Here’s how!

Click Maintain > Rating > Rate Schedules. The Rate Schedules window appears, showing the rate schedule that happens to be first alphabetically.
Click Edit > Adjust Rates. The Administrative Rate Adjustment window appears.
In the top portion of the window, select any rate schedules that need to be adjusted. (To deselect a rate schedule, click it again.)
Check the Adjust Rate Detail checkbox.
Choose either the “Adjust by Percentage” or “Adjust by Entered Amount” option.
Enter a percentage or dollar amount by which to increase the selected rate schedules. (If you want to decrease the rate by a specific percentage or amount, enter a negative value here.)
If you want to apply this change to only specific areas, uncheck the All Origin Areas and/or the All Destination Areas checkbox and select one or more areas in the corresponding lists.
Optionally, use the Round To option to round the resulting rate amount to a specific number of decimal places. By default, values are rounded to two decimal places (nearest penny).
Click the Adjust button to apply the change to all of the selected rate schedules.

This process can also be easily applied to fixed/variable charges and stop/accessorial charges by setting the appropriate options in the Rate Adjustment window.
