New Prophesy Accounting Version 5 Released


 

Our next-generation Accounting system is built for trucking, and designed to be integrated with the Prophesy Dispatch system.  Offered as the ultimate tool in accounting for the trucking industry, this new software package allows you to quickly access critical financial information with the click of a button.  New segment capabilities allow you to track income and expenses in up to two department levels.  All invoices and settlements from the DispatchSeries software can be posted seamlessly into the Accounting software, where your key accounting personnel can take over and process cash receipts, payables, payroll, owner operator settlements, and financial reporting. Document Imaging & Retrieval for Trucking with Prophesy DI


 

With the release of the new Prophesy DI, you can now scan, organize, store, and retrieve all of your mission-critical documentation with ease and complete control.

 

Designed specifically for trucking companies, Prophesy Document Imaging allows you to manage all of your essential documents including invoices, PODs, proof of insurance, broker documents, vehicle paperwork, notes, accident photos, and more.  Scan a single document or a large batch of documents at once, making the normally tedious digitizing process a snap.  Once your documents are scanned, use the built-in image adjustment tools to zoom, resize, and rotate them to your satisfaction.  Associate each document with a specific customer, vehicle, or other resource, and then print, fax, or email documents whenever needed to keep your contacts well informed.

Ask the Tech Team


 

One very popular question we’ve received from our customers is, “How do I add my own company logo to my reports?”  Here’s how!

 

First, you will need to set the appropriate graphic formatting of your logo:

 

 

Once this file is created, place it in your current working “Disp” folder.  This folder is located, by default, inside either the “Prophesy” or “Prophesy\Programs” folder on your shared network drive (network installations) or your local hard drive (single-user installations).

 

By default, there is already a file named “Logo.bmp” in the “Disp” folder.  This is a blank file and can be safely overwritten with your new one.

 

Once your logo file is in the “Disp” folder, your reports and freight bills will display this file in their printouts.

 

Note to Multi-Company Dispatch Users:  Follow the above steps normally to insert your logo if you would like a single logo to be displayed for all of your companies.  However, if you would like each company to use its own logo, you must copy the corresponding logo into the appropriate company folder located in the “Disp\[company name]” folder.  (These folders are named with the IDs that you used when you first added these companies to Dispatch.)
